Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Playlant! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Playlant's games, platform, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using Playlant, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Service. These Terms incorporate Playlant's Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are essential parts of your agreement with us.

Account Registration and Security

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use cheats, hacks, exploits, or third-party software to gain unfair advantages

• Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Virtual Items and In-Game Purchases

Virtual Currency

Playlant may offer virtual currency for purchase through our platform. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law. Virtual currency has no monetary value outside the game.

Virtual Items

Virtual items obtained through gameplay or purchase are licensed to you for the duration of your account. These items remain the property of Playlant and may be modified or removed at our discretion.

Real-World Impact Programs

Participation in programs that convert in-game achievements to real-world environmental impact is subject to additional terms and conditions. Playlant reserves the right to modify or discontinue these programs at any time.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, trademarks, service marks, logos, trade names, and other intellectual property displayed on or through the Service are the property of Playlant or our licensors. You may not use, copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of our content without explicit permission.

User-Generated Content

By submitting content to Playlant (such as comments, creations, or feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving our Service.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Playlant, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may collect data about your gameplay, device information, and usage patterns to improve our services. This data is used in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.

Community Guidelines

Playlant is committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and educational gaming environment. All players must:

• Keep conversations age-appropriate and family-friendly
• Share accurate and helpful environmental information
• Report inappropriate behavior or content to moderators
• Support and encourage fellow players in their eco-journeys

Enforcement

Violation of community guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent account termination, depending on the severity of the violation.

Termination

Playlant reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. Upon account closure, you will lose access to all virtual items, progress, and achievements.

Playlant may also remove or delete content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Playlant is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Playlant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, virtual items, or account access.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 if no payment was made.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against Playlant. All disputes will be resolved individually.

Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and updated date will reflect the date of last revision. We may also notify you of significant changes via email or in-game notifications.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and close your account.
